# Affinity Group Formation Events

**Affinity groups are small groups of people who organise and take action together.** They’ve proven to be effective at enhancing activist support, sustainability and safety. At their core, they are small groups of people who trust each other and have similar views on their preferred types and levels of actions.

During this event we will facilitate the formation of affinity groups. Come alone or with your friends! There will also be time for a short introduction to XR (new member should come at 18.30) and a short presentation of the "Salon of Lies action".

**Les groupes d'affinité sont de petits groupes de personnes qui s'organisent et agissent ensemble.** Ils se sont avérés efficaces pour renforcer le soutien, la durabilité et la sécurité des militants. Il s'agit de petits groupes de personnes qui se font confiance et qui ont des points de vue similaires sur les types et les niveaux d'action qu'elles préfèrent.

Au cours de cet événement, nous faciliterons la formation de groupes d'affinité. Venez seul ou avec vos amis ! Il y aura aussi du temps pour une courte introduction à la XR (les nouveau membres devront venir à 18h30) et une courte présentation de l'action "Salon des mensonges".
